Where has the time gone? Bella has just turned 2 and I could clearly remember her to be one tiny baby that I used to carry. She seem older than her age—I mean the way she reasons out or talk. We could not imagine not having her in our home. Indeed kids put so much life in our abode!

Our eldest in the family is turning out to be a fine young lady. She already helps in the household chores and is a great help to me as well. I would not be surprised if I would have a teenager in the house in no time! She will turn 16 in 5 years yet, but I was wondering if we should send out invitationbox.com sweet 16 invitations when she’ll turn 16. In our home country it is more common to have a celebration during one’s 18th birthday so maybe we will just have it when she turns 18. Oh, I don’t want to think about that yet. The thought of having a teenage daughter sounds scary to me, honestly!

Light Up Your House

A dark house is a lonely house. That is not a saying, nor does it come from someone famous. But it most certainly holds true, right? A poorly lit house, both inside and outside, looks gloomy. But try looking or even staying at a house that’s well lit and you’ll feel differently.

Indeed, lighting plays an important part in any establishment, more so a house. If you are planning on making your house look a lot livelier, why not start by choosing the right kind of outdoor lighting? Nowadays there are LED outdoor lighting. There are also outdoor lighting which can heighten the security for your house. That’s the type of lighting the lights up when it senses motion.

Of course, when choosing a light for the exterior of your house, you have to keep in mind its aesthetic properties. If you know that it would be quite visible to passersby, why not choose one that looks decorative? Otherwise, if your purpose is merely to light up your porch or backyard, then you can choose a simple bulb.

Making Plans is Important

As a mother, it’s very important that I balance my time. With so many things that I need to take care of, sometimes it’s very difficult to squeeze all of them in 24 hours! I have a family to take care of, a house to maintain and a business to manage and I have to juggle them all at the same time. That’s the reason why it’s crucial for me to plan.

If I don’t make plans, I don’t think I would be able to accomplish anything on a given day and I don’t think I would have time for myself if I didn’t apportion my time wisely. There are some things I need to do for myself that involves planning. What are these plans I need to make for myself? Makeover plans is one. I also intend to make diet plans because I know how important it is that I stay in shape. After all, how will I be able to do all that I need to do if I’m not healthy, right?

Job Hunting Made Easy

I’m sure that many of you have experienced hunting for a job. I remember when I was just fresh out of college, my friends and I scoured the classifieds of the Sunday newspaper for possible job openings. A separate section of the newspaper was devoted to job postings and we would mark the ones that interested us. Then during the week that followed, we would go job hunting in our best business attires.

Looking back, I can say that everything was nothing like a walk in the park. Job hunting then was frustrating and fulfilling at the same time. Now though, most people especially those fresh out of college have all the time in the world to look for jobs posted online. All sorts of job openings are obtainable from the Internet. Jobs are classified per category and sometimes even by area. So let’s say you’re looking for Columbus jobs, you can just simply type in appropriate keywords and that’s it.

Even submission of resumes and other credentials can be done online. The only time you have to leave the house is when you’re called in for an interview. Now that’s job hunting made easy.

Digital Frames

When digital cameras were released, everyone was so happy about it. We could now take unlimited pictures depending on the memory storage of the digital camera. Now, the only problem is printing these images into tangible pictures. Aside from that, buying too many photo frames just to showcase their great pictures is also a problem.

So now, there is great news, you don’t need to print the pictures you have taken or place a lot of photo frames in your house. All you need is buy a digital frame and you can now display all the photos you want.

Digital frames are one of my few wants in life. I want to have a wall full of digital frames showcasing my children. I want at least three digital frames. This means I want one digital frame per each child. Isn’t that nice??

Busted Door Lock

I posted about our main door lock being busted at my other blog. It’s been awhile since the main door gave up on us. I already informed our land lord and everyone who is concerned with it but until now, the lock is still busted and hasn’t been replaced.

Since people here in our house seem to be not caring about the issue, I guess I am left with no choice but to visit the door hardware this weekend. I am planning to buy a new door lock and give it to our land lord so that he could hire someone to install it for us.

If you want to have a job done, then do it!! Well, that runs true for me.

Back Playing FarmVille

I have stopped playing FarmVille for a few months now but lately, I felt bored with all the new games. This is the reason why I decided to play again. So now, I am back playing with FarmVille and was shocked to see all the improvements they added. They have too many improvements that I lost track of everything. I don’t know where to pick up where I left before. To continue playing and enjoying the game, I decided to plow, plant and harvest only. I don’t want to focus on others yet so that I won’t be confused. I am now also adding some buildings aside from the house. Slowly, I am building my farm again.

To all my readers, do you play FarmVille? What level are you in now? By the way, they are helping HAITI schools right now when you send gifts to your neighbors!

Staying at Home or Working Outside?

My husband and I have been talking lately. Our family is growing therefore our needs are increasing too inevitably. As a stay at home mother, I enjoy the benefits of being with my children and still earning online. But as you can see, I am not yet earning from any passive income. I only earn when work comes around. Meaning to say, my income is not stable.

So, we have talked about getting me some local jobs. Not necessarily, I work two jobs in a day but maybe get a stable income and still earn online. Well, I am not really sure yet since we are still able to make ends meet despite delays in payment with house bills and such. We don’t know until when we can do this especially it’s hard when you are always chasing deadlines after deadlines in paying the bills.

Oh well, I just hope we will have something to come around, something that would let me stay at home continually.

Bathroom Perfect

I always love to scan magazines with pictures of exterior house designs. One of my favorites is those that use a glass tile on one of their designs. You see, I always imagined my bathroom situated in front of my bed and instead of a wall, I wanted to have glass tiles covering it so that the silhouette of the person using the bathroom can be seen. Hehehe… Very sexy? Yes?!

Anyway, I saw a lot of these designs already but still I wanted to have it. I find it daring and romantic for married couples!

Investing Online

Since I work online, I have been thinking if I should buy investments online too. As you can see, I don’t have much time to go out and weigh out investments outside the house. I am such a home buddy per se!

Talking about online investments, I just saw an ad about how to buy gold online and how this can be a great investment. Gold, as we all know, is a stable investment. Even if the dollar exchange rate go on a whirl wind on going up and down. Gold remain constant and stable.

Anyway, maybe I should reconsider this. Having investments will surely help my children’s future needs. It would be wise idea to do so I guess. It needs careful planning and calculated risks.
